It has been made mandatory by the UGC and by the Hon'ble Supreme Court that each student is to provide an affidavit on a NonJudicial Stamp paper of Rs. 10/- duly attested by oath commissioner (in the notary) to the effect that he/she would not indulge in any ragging activities (Annexure I). It has also been made mandatory for the parents to give a similar affidavit on a Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 10/- duly attested by Oath Commissioner stating that their wards would not indulge in any such ragging activities (Annexure II). Separate Formats have been designed for both the students and parents.

The affidavit of both the students and parents are to be submitted together on the date of admission. Single affidavit of either the student or the parents will not be accepted.

IN THE ALTERNATIVE,
Students and parents may submit their online anti-ragging undertaking on the UGC Anti- Ragging Portal at https://www.antiragging.in/ and produce the print copy of the undertaking at the time of admission.
